General Navigation around OnePassport is easy. In the top right-hand corner, you will see a copy link, pdf, print and bell icon as well as 3 bars. The copy link allows you to share the page with others (pdf link). The PDF button allows you to download a PDF version of your CV which you can email to organisations. The Print button allows you to print your CV. The bell is where you will receive notifications on expired items in your OP or from your connected organisations. The 3 bars is for the Settings and Log out section.
Click the photo icon in the top left to bring up your information including your mobile number and email. Click the pen icon in the right-hand corner to edit the information on the page.
In the Left-hand corner, you can use the back arrow to navigate back to the previous screen.
If you want help at any stage on what to enter within any area, such as Add Qualifications, press on the ? in the upper right-hand corner and a support box will appear.
You can upload a copy of your document in each section as soon as you are able. Just click the Upload button and press Save once done.
View the record you have added to your Profile by clicking on the arrow button.
You can remove or delete any information you have added to your profile by clicking the bin icon at the top right corner of the screen. However, if this information has been already shared with your connected organisation, deleting this would only mean being removed from your profile and not from the records of the organisation.
Qualification - If you have a University Degree or TAFE Qualification, click the + sign to add this information here. If you don’t have a copy at hand to upload as a PDF or check the exact dates that you started and completed your qualification, just put in the approximate dates for now. You can always come back to update this later.
General Certifications - This refers to Certificate of Attainments such as First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling training etc. Click the General Certifications tab in the sidebar. Click the + sign and add the details. Upload the certificate as soon as you are able.
Employment Experience - At a minimum add the most recent positions held. Add information by clicking the plus button at the top right.
To enhance your CV/Resume add information to the Role Description box about key achievements and duties.
Background Checks – This refers to checks that may be required for certain positions, such as a Police Check, Yellow Card and Blue Card. Click the plus button to add information.
Residency - Use the drop-down menu to select whichever applies to you. Upload any supporting documentation as needed. If you are an Australian citizen, please choose “Citizen” and choose Australia.
Use the search function to find the Visa Type.
Registrations, Licences and Permits - AHPRA registration, relevant licences (eg driver’s licence) or permits can be added here using the + sign.
Immunisation Register- This is a growing requirement by employers. Use this area to keep track of your vaccinations. At a minimum complete information on your most recent influenza vaccination. Add information by clicking the plus sign.
Language Skills– Some employers will be searching for workers who can speak another language. Use the + sign and follow the prompts to add this information.
Micro-Credentials - You can add information of your Continuing Professional Development/short course here. Click the plus sign to add information.
Skills - This is where you can add any special skills or competencies e.g. PEG feeding, experience working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Miscellaneous - Add any other information that doesn’t fit elsewhere. Such as “Have own care” if you are a community services worker.
