People's details can be altered individually or you may have experienced it at times when you need to add new information to multiple people. For example, a number of people have informed you of a change of address. They could send this via their App and connection, which is preferable, but you can also enter it from your organisation system as well. Manually inputting this information one by one is too time-consuming so here we outline how you can do this as a group. Take the following steps to complete.
Important:
1. Add the details for updating using the relevant bulk upload template. Email is the most essential information in your spreadsheet. It should match the one that is already saved in the system otherwise updating will not work.
You can download a template for updating at the bottom of this page for your reference. Note: It is only an example like the below picture. You can put the headers you want to update and work on as long as the first column should be the email section.
Make sure your spreadsheet for updating the details is ready for upload. To save time, ensure that there are no blanks or errors you need to correct later to successfully update. Check that you have removed the instruction columns from the original template and only have the title row as your first line across the top.
2. You can update the following information.
* First Name
* Last Name
* Middle Name
* Preferred Name
* Gender
* Birth Date
* Mobile Number
* Home Phone Number
* Person Type/Department/Unit/Sector - the one showing in the sidebar of Comply where your staff are categorised
* Address Line 1
* Address Line 2
* Town/Suburb
* State
* Post Code
* USI
* Country
* Business Email
* Employee ID
* Medicare Card Number
* Medicare IRN
* Individual Health Identifier (IHI)
* Work Category
